What does DSL stand for?
It stands for Days Since Login, as in how many days it's been since your lazy self last took two seconds to log into your account on the website.
What are you guys, and what do you play?
We are a gaming community. We play Starcraft:Brood War, Diablo II:LOD, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Counter Strike Source, Star Wars Empire at War, Maplestory, and Counter-Strike 1.6.
There are never any recruiters online. What do I do?
Look on our Members Page for a member of the game you play that is an Officer or higher, message them on their AIM screenname, and ask them about being recruited.
How do I join?

Do you support hacks?
Stupid question.. No, we do not support hacks! Hacks are PROHIBITED in this clan. If you use a hack, then this is NOT the clan for you. (If you are caught with a hack in this clan you will be demoted and/or disabled.) Maphack, Stackhack, Winbots, etc. You get the idea.
How do I become an Elite Member, and are there any special privileges to being one?
The Elite Member list is a list of members who are very skilled, therefore earning the title of Elite Member. Elite members are chosen either through tournaments or by the leader of the Elite division for a particular game. Yes, there are privileges to being an elite member, but you'll just have to find out what they are when you become one!
Will I have bot access once I join?
No, only Warrant Officers and higher ranks will get access on operator/moderation bots.
What if I can't reply or post on the forums?
Contact one of the generals. They should be able to help lead you to someone that can offer assistance on the forum, but you can feel free to make another username.
How do I get promoted to officer?
Activity, loyalty, good manners, etc. = Promotion. Also make sure you read the rankings page.
When making my account, how should I type my tag?
Your tag should be listed as DF as it is on the site.
I can't log into the website.
Make sure you type in your password EXacTly how you entered it, because the passwords and login names aRe cAse sEnsItIVe.
I've lost my password! What should I do?
Go to Lost Password? Select your name, and submit, the password will be sent to you via email. Then check you email, for the password. If you put an invalid or expired email, you can contact a Major or Higher on AIM or Battle.Net, and he/she will retrieve your lost password for you.
I have a suggestion. Who do I talk to?
Go to the forum and post it in the appropriate section, or you can talk to a general or a high ranked officer about it.
What maps does DF play on BW?
Mainly Lost Temple, Hunters, and other low mineral maps.
How do I work a bot?
DF supports Stealthbot. www.stealthbot.net Follow the instructions on that website.
Starcraft/Warcraft/CS/D2 won't work! What should I do?
There is a section in the forums for this, please post there and provide as much detail as you can.
I also play Diablo 2:LOD, Warcraft 3:TFT, and other games. Can I still join?
Yes, ask a recruiter who also plays that game to recruit you.
Can I have other accounts other than my DF one?
Of course! But, do not join other clans (Double clanning), otherwise you may have as many "smurfs" as you wish. Just don't expect medals and promotions if you're always on them. Wear your tag with pride!
Can you promote me ?
No, asking for promotions is likely to get you demoted and/or disabled.
I will be inactive. Where do I post the notice?
Login to your console and go to: Post IA Request and make a
request to be inactive. Include details to how long you will remain inactive because this will allow a general to make an accurate decision in approving your request. Make sure a general approves the request before going inactive.
Are hacked items allowed ?
No, we do not allow those items on the overdosed account, but on smurfs, you may do as you please. This includes all types of such items like hexes and that kind of stuff.
How does the ranking system work? When do I get my next promotion?
In Devils Forces, the promotion system works very simple. You start as a Recruit, and from the day you are recruited, you will receive a promotion every week (7 days) for 4 weeks (28 days) to the rank of Staff Sergeant. After that you will receive promotions if you are active on Battle.net, the CS servers, the forums, logging on the website every other day if not everyday, and various other reasons.
What is the waiting period between each promotion?
There is a 2 week waiting period between each officer promotion. There is a 1 week waiting period between each Warrant Officer and Enlisted promotion. There is not a waiting period for general ranks, but they tend to be in the 2 week - 2 year range.
Also if you have ever been disabled, a week is added to all periods of these promotion ranges.
What is BM?
BM stands for Bad Manners. This is an issue in Devils Forces with some members. You will be warned, and then disabled based on the offense.
What is a forum?
A forum is like an online board where events or things are talked about. Our forum is basically the meeting point for the different members and leaders of our clan. Our forum is a very important part of our clan.
An Officer told me I have to have 50 games on my account to be recruited. Does that mean 50 wins?
No. Just have 50 completed games on your record. Do not use a bot to get 50 wins. That is bad juju!!
How do I join as a Counter-Strike member?
You can join the clan as a Counter-Strike member by either private messaging one of the Counter-Strike generals or officers in the clan on their AIM screenname or logging onto one of the Counter-Strike servers and requesting to be recruited as a trial member.
What is GM?
GM stands for Good Manners. It is the opposite of BM. With good manners, you might earn yourself a promotion or two or five in DF. Good manners are always looked for in DF.
Why was I was demoted?
Your best bet is still to contact a general. You were most likely demoted because of BM or not logging into the website and accumulating 7 DSL. Always watch what you're doing in DF. It is a big clan with many members and features.
Why do I have to log in to the website daily?
You dont have to. It's pointless. DON'T LOG IN! THE CAKE IS A LIE! BE A REBEL!
No seriously, you pretty much choose too if you choose to remain a member of the clan. It shows us that you're still here and active in the clan. If you aren't logging in, your DSL will keep going up until you are eventually disabled from the clan, and then we say, "I guess that guy either doesn't want to be in the clan anymore or isn't active." You can log in every other day if it is THAT much of a hassle to your very busy schedule and life, Mr. Video Game Player.
I got disabled. What should I do?
Contact a general. They should be able to tell you why you got disabled and/or re-enable you , depending on the severity of the issue.
What should my recruiter tell me after I am added to site?
Your recruiter will explain to you all rules that DF has, any information you need to know about the clan or your game, and how to log in as well as various other pieces of information about being a trial member.

What is the minimum for donating if I wish to donate, and what do I get in return?
There is no minimum amount of money to donate as it is a donation and anything is graciously accepted, but if you're wanting anything in return there are a few basic amounts required to meet the standards of what ever it is you're seeking as a sort of "reward." The best place to find out about such standards would be to follow this link to the donation page.
